Semi-auto hunting rifle "Vepr-Hunter"
| "Vepr-Hunter" are semi-auto hunting rifles with a long stock made like "Monte-Carlo".
These are output for the cartridges of .308 Win (7,62x51) and .30-06 Spr (7,62x63) calibers. The semi-auto hunting rifles "Vepr-Hunter" are destined for middle and big games. The construction of the rifles provides a reliable operation of parts and mechanisms as well as high-quality shooting in different weather and climatic conditions by the environmental temperature from -50° up to +50°Ñ.  "Vepr-Hunter" in caliber .30-60 Spr "Vepr-Hunter Ì" in caliber .30-06 SprThe rifle "Vepr-Hunter Ì" is a modification of the rifle "Vepr-Hunter" and differs with a place of the foresight location. On the rifle "Vepr-Hunter" the foresight bed is combined with the gas chamber. On the rifle "Vepr-Hunter Ì" the foresight is installed on the bed situated in the barrel muzzle part. The outer sighting devices of the rifles "Vepr-Hunter" and "Vepr-Hunter Ì" consist of a foresight that is adjustable in two planes and a sight leaf with distances of 100 - 300m. The mounting base for fastening the scope mount is situated from the left side of the receiver. The aimed shooting from the rifle with the outer sight can be carried out without taking off the optical sight. The stock is made out of the walnut. For convenient shooting the stock has a jaw and a paddy rubber butt. |

| The rifles belong to a class of the semi-auto firearms.
The automatic reloading is carried out due to use of the energy of powder gases moved from the bore into the gas chamber while shooting and thanks to the energy of the return spring.
The bore is locked by bolt turn round its axle by three rests. The hammer-type firing-mechanism is on a jettisonable base; it provides shooting by single shots and saving the gun.
The safety device is a button-type one. To exclude an inertial pinhole of the primer the firing-pins of the bolts are spring-loaded.
Bore and chamber, gas chamber and shaft with the piston of the bolt carrier are chrome-lined. On a special order a leaf with distances up to 1 000 and a deflections correcting device can be installed; the stock can be left-handed; the rifles can be decorated. |
